VPS-1
A proven winner on the National downhill racing
circuit. The VPS-1 has been updated with more rear wheel travel, more tire
clearance, and new longer lasting pivot bearings. Durable 6061 T-6 monocoque
linkage suspension design, with adjustable rear wheel travel from 5.5 to
7 inches. Fox Vanilla R "coil over" shock provides infinite rebound adjustment
options and delivers plush reliable performance. The Marzocchi Monster
T fork features a ground hugging 180mm of travel and features compression
and rebound cartridges for custom tuning. The ESP 9.0 drive train with
Race Face DH cranks and a Sun/Ringle chain guide deliver crisp responsive
shifts. Hayes Hydraulic disc brakes give you all the stopping power you
will require, thanks to the 8 inch DH rotor up front and the 6 inch in
the rear. Sun Rhyno Lite L7 rims with Nokian DH tires round out this ready
to race rocket.
VPS-2
The new VPS-2 incorporates the additional down
tube support, until now only available on the VPS-1. It provides additional
frame rigidity and strength for extreme conditions. Rear wheel travel is
adjustable between 4 and 5 inches by changing the shock mount position
in the link arms. Like the VPS-1 it utilizes the Fox Vanilla R adjustable
rear shock. Check out the new Marzocchi Z-1 Q/R 20 forks with 130mm of
travel and dual cartridge adjusters for rebound and compression. Hayes
Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear for the ultimate in stopping power.
9-speed drive train with a Shimano XT rear changer, Race Face LP cranks,
and "crisp" shifting Gripshift Half Pipe Rocket shifters. Fatique fighting
Easton EA50 handlebars with a tough CNC stem. Tough Sun rhyno Lite L7 rims
with grippy Mitsuboshi Rocko 2.4 tires.
VPS-3
Tough 6061 monocoque swing link frame with
adjustable rear wheel travel from 4 to 5 inches provided by the Fox Vanilla
shock. Marzocchi Z-3 Q/R 20 provides extreme tortional rigidity and steering
response while keeping you firmly on the ground thanks to the 130mm of
plush travel. Super stiff Race Face Prodigy cranks compliment the Shimano
Deore XT rear changer,Gripshift 9-speed Attack shifters,and wide ratio
Shimano rear cogs. The VPS-3 features the same great braking performance
of the VPS-2 thanks to the Hayes hydraulic disc brakes. Sun rhyno Lite
rims, DT stainless spokes,and Mitsuboshi Rocko 2.4 tires deliver the durability
and traction demanded by today's top riders.
VPS-4
Tough 6061 monocoque swing link. The VPS-4
shares the same frame as the VPS-3 providing you with adjustble rear wheel
travel from 4 to 5 inches. The Fox Vanilla rear shock features adjustable
preload, a plush ride, and proven reliability. Formula MD-1 disc brakes
front and rear with Avid speed dial levers give you all weather braking
control, and long pad life. Marzocchi Z-5 long travel forks feature 100mm
of travel, speed sensitive valves, and a reliable low-pressure tuneable
air spring system. Race Face Prodigy cranks, Shimano XT rear changer and
9 speed Gripshift Attack shifters make up the VPS-4 drive train Super strong
Sun Hill Rod free ride rims with stainless spokes and aggressive 2.35 Kenda
Kinetic free ride tires.
Torrent
The heart of the new Torrent frame is the American
Monocoque down tube with an Easton Elite seat and top tube. The monocoque
down tube acts as an integrated head tube gusset providing extra strength
and rigidity for today's most demanding terrain. It features "North Shore"
specific geometry customized for longer travel forks, and incorporating
shorter chainstays for added climbing control. The Marzocchi Z-3 Q/R 20
fork, stock with 110mm of travel, provides precise steering control. For
those that want more travel, it can be modified to 130mm of travel by removing
a top out spring from each leg. Hayes full hydraulic disc brakes front
and rear. Race Face LP cranks with granny and middle rings. Shimano Deore
XT Rapid fire shifteres and Deore XT rear changer. "North shore" bash guard
for chain guard protection and added BB clearance for getting over the
big stuff. Sun Rhyno Lite rims with high volume Mitsuboshi Rocko 2.4 tires.
